Day 2 and 3 - France

Hello everyone,

We arrived safely and the flight over was ok. We all got our cases very quickly but Miss Fountain was panicking as hers was the last to come off the belt - as Mason said, she had a sweat on!!!

Two teachers from the French school came to collect us from the airport and we enjoyed seeing the sights from the bus window as we travelled to our hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel, Numan and the Turkish team were already there and it was nice to catch up and see everyone again.

After unpacking, we went out exploring and the boys picked a lovely restaurant for us to have our eveing meal in - all boys were living it up this time and ordered steak.....you can tell they knew Miss Fountain was paying!

On Sunday morning we went out to the swimming baths at 9am, but for some reason they would not let us in.....we think they were saying it was too busy. Although we were a bit disappointed, we decided to walk to the market and spend our time there instead. We bought some brilliant presents for you all and it was good to see the town and all of the French people doing their shopping. We then went to a shopping complex for a little look around and again spent some of YOUR hard earned cash!

We went to Mc D for lunch and then we found this amazing adventure play area - we had such fun and enjoyed beating all of the staff at air hockey - they were gutted - Mrs Emmerson did beat Miss Fountain 7 -6 and it was pretty tense when Joseph was playing Miss Sinnott......I am pleased to report though that Joseph was victorious!!!!!!

We came back to the hotel and got showered etc before going out for tea in the hotel....we need to be up and ready by 7am in the morning so Miss Fountain said we MUST have an early night and get ready for out school visit tomorrow.

We hope that you are not missing us too much.

Love the French Gang x
